Age 41 years Occupation Farmer Eyes Br Hair Br Complexion Br Height 5 feet 7 inches Discharged, [[strikethrough]] or died [[/strikethrough]] Brazos Island Tex's on the__ day of April 1867 Commanding Officer Capt. Drake First Sergeant Richard Wait Enlisted about the same time and place REMARKS Slave of Mrs. Covington, Madison Co. Ky. when enlisted. In Hospital some months before Richmond was taken. On duty most of the time as [[?]] Sergt. Gom Elliott. Marched out with Cos. Pvt Joseph Bowan, Died in Sumner in 1866. Willis Wait deserted at Redmond's [[Benche?]] summer of 1866. Witness on applic'n were Joseph & Samuel Fields.
