NARA 708 (FORM 24.) Abraham Gunn Pvt, "B" Co., 13th Regt. U.S.C. Arty (Hy) was born in Robertson Co. Tennessee, was enlisted the 13th day of December, 1864, at Paducah Ky, by Capt Morgan, and was mustered in the 13th day of December, 1864, at Paducah Ky, by Capt Morgan, for three years. At the time of enlistment, he was forty-six (46) years old, and five feet eight inches in height. He was discharged [[strikethrough]] (or died) [[/strikethrough]] 18th day of November, 1865, [[strikethrough]] at [[/strikethrough]] mustered out as an absentee; George E. Sutherland was commanding officer, and James Balls First Sergeant at time of soldiers discharge. The following are the names of one or more of his company who enlisted at or about same time and place: Stephen Jessup enlisted 13th day of December, 1864, and Anthony McAllister enlisted 13th day of December, 1864. REMARKS. 1. If a slave, that fact and name of owner will be noted here. 2. Any other peculiar fact or event connected with the soldier's history will also be noted. Joined at original organization. Reported on Muster Out Roll of the Co, dated Louisville Ky, November 18th 1865 "Absent sick at Louisville Ky since November 14th 1865- not mustered out with organization. No discharge furnished." The Record of his Death and Interment on file in this office, shows that he "Died November 28th 1865 at Taylor Barracks, Louisville Ky, of Typhoid Fever" No record as to free or slave status. Occupation Farmer, Black eyes, hair and complexion.
