Sir, I have the honor to report my balance of public funds on deposit in hand at the close of the week ending Saturday August 2nd 1873, as follows. With the Merchants National Bank of Savannah, Ga $2744.30 Respectfully sir Your obediant servant John W. Dillenback 1st Lieut 1st Artillery Disb'g Officer 28. Savannah, Ga. Aug. 4th 1873 Second Auditor US Treasury Washington, D.C. Through Adjutant Generals Office Sir, I have the honor to transmit herewith my A/C Current of Dispo Officer Freedmen's Branch, AGO for the month of July 1873. Respectfully Sir Your obediant servant John W. Dillenback 1st Lieut 1st Artillery Disp'g Officer 29. Savannah, Ga. August 9 1873 To the Adjutant General U.S. Army Washington, D.C. Sir, I have the honor to report the balance of funds on deposit on hand at the close of the Freedmen's bureau on Saturday, Aug. 9th 1873, as follows: With the Merchants National Bank of Savannah, Ga. $465.10 Respectfully Sir Your obediant servant John W. Disbursing Office Savanna Ga., Aug 14 1873 To the Adjutant General US Army Washington DC Sir Referring to your endorsements on letter of the Acting 2nd Auditor of the Treasury of 5th Inst. directing the payment be suspended in the case of Frank Lyons late Private Co H 34th C.T. - I have the honor to report that the claim has not been settled, & payment will be withheld until further instructions are received from your office Respectfully Sir Your obediant Servant John W.
