affixed the seal of said court this 1st day of January A.D. 1866. D.C. White, Clerk & EOR By Wm.P. Stephens DC [[stamp]] U.S. INTER. REVENUE INLD EXCHANGE FIVE 5 CENTS [[/stamp]] Amnesty Oath, under Proclamation of the President of the United States, dated May 29th, 1865. I Theodric Sorrells of Jefferson County, State of Arkansas, do solemnly swear, in the presence of Almighty God, that I will henceforth faithfully support, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States, and the union of the States thereunder: and that I will, in like manner, abide by and faithfully support all laws and proclamations which were made during the late rebellion, with reference to the emancipation of slaves; so help me god. Theodric Sorrels {SEAL} Sworn to and subscribed before me, David C White, Clerk of the Circuit Court for the County of Jefferson, in the State of Arkansas, on this 1st day of January A. D, 1866.
