Notes on Transcribing this page (optional)
completely illegible, previous doc has some of the same language and names possibly could be of use. Third from bottom - could the first name be Benjamin vs. Suzanne? ---------- Reopened for Editing 2025-07-05 13:03:53 ---------- Reopened for Editing 2025-07-05 13:49:16 There were only 13 regiments of USCHA (the 1st and the 3-14th). This will help you know whether the writing above is USCT or USCHA. So, there would never be a 50th USCHA ---------- Reopened for Editing 2025-07-06 21:46:21 ---------- Reopened for Editing 2025-07-07 11:47:29 looked up "Banks" for 67th USCT, the only was was Richard. ----- Be really careful assuming that the claimant is the soldier. Many of these claims are for the parent, child, or sibling, and their name won't match up with any company roster. The writer doesnt always indicate that the claimant is not the soldier. ------------------ Finally found the sister to this report in another doc set that is crystal clear. All entries corrected where needed. The remaining [[illegible]] looks like a strikethrough, which would make sense since it is the only entry that isnt on the other report.
