June 11th., 1959. Russell M. Porter, Esq., 64 bis Rue de Monceau, Paris (8me), France. Dear Mr. Porter: Mr. William M. Matheson has kindly sent me a copy of his letter to you written under date of June 2d., and mentionning the possibility that I might already be en route to Paris. Regrettably, I have had to defer my departure and with my flying date still uncertain. In order to keep active the matter under discussion, I am writing today to a New York friend, Mr. Germain Seligman, who is presently at the Hotel Ritz, and I am asking him to communicate with you with a view towards arranging a meeting. I have entire confidence in Mr. Seligman's judgement and discretion and I am sure that you will find his visit of mutual benefit. Immediately on my own arrival in Paris somewhat later, I shall give myself the pleasure of calling on you, and in the meantime I am, Sincerely, John J. Cunningham JJC/ac
