November 26, 1974

Dear Mr. Fitzgerald,

In acknowledging your pleasant letter of November 22nd, I wish in all haste to correct the impression that the auction of the Spanish Primitive is taking place in New York, for it will be in London.

In fact, I do not believe that Christie, Manson & Woods have ever conducted auctions in our city.

I shall of course advise you of the results as soon as they will have been conveyed to us. However, do bear in mind that the mail service between England and the United States has been quite slow of late, judging from my personal experience.

Yours sincerely,

Germain Seligman
