Dear Mr. Cunningham: 

Thank you for your letter which was at least written in good spirit. I was glad to hear that you feel much better and that your illness is only your old "friend". I also know that sometimes friends can geton your nerves. 

I am writing to tell you that I forwarded the very interesting letter of Rep. Lindsay to Mr. Seligman. I know Mr. Seligman will be very much interested, let's hope it proves to be correct. Many thanks for bringing it to his attention in a time were you had other things on your mind.
