January 29, 1957

Dear Sir Alec:

[[strikethrough]]THOUGH[[/strikethrough]] ^[[Though]] your letter of January 4th actually requires no answer, I do want to acknowledge receipt of it.

I have communicated its contents to my client, who for the time being at least, seems to remain adamant as far as putting reserves on any of the items. He may of course change his mind when faced with the catalogues. In this respect he has requested me to inquire whether dates have already been set by you as regards the auctions in which these items will be included, for I assume that in view of their different nature, they will not all be sold at the same time. This you will realize is but a supposition.

Looking forward to hearing further from you, with kind regards,

Sincerely yours,
Germain Seligman
