Dear Mr. Seligman,

Thank you for your letter of the 12th instant enclosing a cheque for 15/- and I send the clerk's receipt herewith for doing the work for you.

The marking of catalogues is done by the clerks in their own time, and any money charged goes to whoever does the catalogues.

As regards the second paragraph of your letter, I understand from the clerk that probably his figure which should have been a 2, looked like a 9, the actual amount should be £2-2-6, and I send you a correct account herewith.

I was very pleased to find you in when I called, and so glad to have a chat with you. I had a good crossing back and got a rest.
