12th December, 1958.

Dear Mr. Seligman,

It was really most kind of you to send me your book on ^[["]]Taste^[["]] for Christmas, it arrived to-day. I look forward very much to reading it.

As I think I mentioned to you when we met, a book is being written about Christie's since the war. It will contain about 170 plates illustrating all the most interesting pictures etc. which we have sold in the period. We had hoped that it would be out in time for Christmas when it was my intention to send you a copy. Unfortunately it has got delayed and I doubt if it will now be out before the Spring but I will send you a copy as soon as we get delivery from the printers. I hope meanwhile that you have received the copy of the catalogue of the Skippe Drawings which I sent you at the time of my last letter.

With all good wishes for Christmas and the New Year.

Yours sincerely,
