When he says "I ain't feelin much, but I ^am thankful to be here", I don't expect much out of him and I am not disappointed. Everybody here is well and everything is moving along as well as can be expected without the "boss".

You will be surprised to learn that Dr. Fish is no longer with the U.S.B.F.-he is now director of the Buffalo Museum of Science, which I believe is a rather new institution with considerable money. Miss. Rathbun had a letter from him-he will not give up his scientific work as that was one of the stipulations upon his accepting the position. He also said that Beebe was on to Miss Boone at least to a degree. She has about finished her work with him, but nothing yet has been published, why we do not know. Perhaps he is suspicious as to its value. I wish he would get well stung by her. Perhaps "[[?Probeebeidae]]" was quite enough glory for him.

Your "dear friend" Mowbray sometime ago sent in a supposedly new lobster which he wishes you to describe and [[underlined]]name after him[[/underlined]]. Couldn't you name it [[underlined]]boonie[[/underlined]]? She seemed much interested in lobsters at one time. Well, now do take the best of care of yourself, but have all the fun you can and don't work too hard.

Sincerely yours
Clarence.
