Dear Waldo -
Just a little note to let you know that we are thinking about you and that everything here is O.K. I do hope things are going easier with you than they did farther north. We have read with great interest the diary that you have been sending to Mrs. S. It is too bad there have been so many delays and disappointments, but I suppose one must expect such things in out-of-the-way places. We are apt to feel until we have the experience that every place is like the US. I wish I could be with you to help you!
The first two cases which you sent arrived OK and everything in good condition. The things have been sorted and labeled and will all be kept together awaiting the next shipment
