It will be a satisfaction to feel that you have combed as well as possible the ground you have covered. It will be too bad if you are not able to meet up with Stanley Kemp, but as you say he might also be delayed. 
I have given Miss Catlin the job of copying the cards you spoke of in your letter. 
  The office seems very strange without you and I can tell you I am looking forward to your return. I wish I could be with you - it would be great fun and it would make the work easier for you. 
  I have written to you before but I sent the letter to Puntas Arenas as I was going by your schedule and was afraid you would not get it unless I sent
