Montevideo, 13 May 1927

My dear Dr. Schmitt:

Your kind letter of yesterday is at hand. I will be very pleased to see you again. I will be at Hotel del Globo Tuesday morning the 17, about 10 in the morning.
The parrots are at home long ago. They are healthy and one of them is tame, the other is [[underline]]noch halb wild[[/underline]]. Also I have 2 cardenals of Uruguay, as you have sent to much money for the parrots. As I told you in my letter you should not have sent any money at all. Also the food for these birds during the trip to the States is ready in two tin-boxes.
With my best regards until next Tuesday morning.
   Yours sincerely
 Juan Tremoleras
