Dear Waldo,

I've a mad streak on again to-day so I'll let you share some of my worries! Bills! bills!
bills!

The car insurance was forty dollars! And I had to have new brake linings and a few other fixings-fourteen dollars! And now at this late date a notice from G.W.U. that you owed them forty dollars pledge money. I paid twenty on it! I hope you get home in time to fix your insurance up. It's[[underlined]]so[[/underlined]] much! I'll manage though.

There was a big meeting on "streets" Monday night. Smoot told me he'd go up. Well, he [[underlined]]didn't[[/underlined]] and Allegheny street is [[underlined]]not[[/underlined]] on the list for even graveling. I'm [[underlined]]furious[[/underlined]]! Let's move!
