W. Atlee Burpee Seed Co.,
Philadelphia, Penna.

Gentlemen:

Through a friend I first learned of Burpee's New Self-Pruning Tomatoe,
and after trying the seed will say that in my 15 years' experience with a garden, I finally raised my best crop of tomatoes from this seed.

This tomatoe excells in many ways the usual run of tomatoe, being very meaty and smooth and free from unsightly marks, it is to be desired for table use and canning purposes.

I also find the plant of the Self-Pruning Tomatoe does not require as much working and attention as other plants. There is no cull on the plants and they yield a good number of good size uniformly shaped pinkish-red tomatoes.

Both my friends (whom I supplied with some of these tomatoes) and myself hardily agree with you that it is all you say and more.

Yours very truly,
W.J. Stricker

P.S. Kindly send me your 1925 Catalogue.
