W Atlee Burpee & Co,
Gentlemen: Self Pruning tomatoe is attractive.
It has an even color lovely pink that appeals to the appetite. It is globe shaped and is the size of a large orange down to a tangerene a choice size for the lunch basket to eat from the hand. [[underlined]] The meat is solid, sweet, and delicious.[[/underlined]] It keeps well and ripens at the time when thousands of people take to the open to eat their lunches. Good cheer abounds when a smooth tomatoe with the most cheerful artistic color in existance graces the table. The foliage is dark green and rumpled and is resistant to the attack of insects and diseases. The branches are long and wiry they bend and help to protect the fruit from the ground. The foliage consists of both large and small leaves the large ones protect the fruit from the sun and the small ones let in just enough sunshine to ripen the fruit to perfection. The vines are short and stout and literally loaded with clusters of fruit that are [[underlined]] destined to become popular because with the least expenditure of effort we get the greatest results.[[/underlined]]
Respectfully
