For Prize Contest.

Aug. 28, 1925.

My success with "Burpee's Seed" has been wonderful this year. The weather was very unfavorable this spring, first cold, then so dry; but in spite of all the seed came up and grew.

First radishes and lettuce, crisp and tender,

Then chard; beets, and bush beans.

My Lima's, both bush and pole have been wonderful; also my Golden Bantam Sweet corn. All have grown fine. My Giant Zinnia's are a sight, some of them measuring six and seven inches across the top.
