[[underline]]For Prize Contest[[/underline]]

Aug. 30th 1925

Dear Sirs,

I am entering your prize contest chiefly because I have [[strikethrough]] often[[/strikethrough been complimented so many times upon my fine display of flowers by persons passing the house with inquiries as to where I obtained my seeds. I was pleased to tell them from Burpees of Phila for they sell only seeds that grow, and surly this is the truth.

The nasturtiums with their speckled leaves have been a surprise to a great many and pansies, cosmos verbenas portulaca have showed well and made a fine showing. The boys say the flowers have improved the house 100%.

I shall order from you again

Yours truly
John F Eckensby
