On account of the severe drought my [[strikethrough]]my[[/strikethrough]] garden yield was not up to standard but like the Widow's Curse of oil, it never fails I had vegetables when others had none. Way a head lettuce was fine. beautiful large heads & did not run to seed. Every one at Juenice remarked about the Matchless Tomato. I always told them it was Burpee's M. Tomato [[saice?]] it was the best they ever ate.

My P. H. sweet peas were always in demand for weddings & Functions
