"FOR PRIZE CONTEST."

Berlin Heights, Ohio, May 25, 1925.

W. Atlee Burpee Co.,
Philadelphia, Pa.
Dear Sirs: –

My lovely Flower Garden
That blooms so fair and free,
Reveals what Seeds of Burpee
Have done for mine and me!

The aster, balsam, zinnia,
The larkspur, mignonette
And salvia, pink, and primrose
From Burpee's Seeds we get!

Fresh veg-e-ta-bles, also
In great variety,
Have added peace and plenty,
And health, to mine and me!

The gay and festive onion,
The pumpkin, squash, and beet,
Tomatoes, cabbage, melons,--
All fresh and find to eat!

So, with our bodies nourished,
And flower-feasted eyes,
We gladly offer Burpee,
For splendid Seeds, the Prize!
