[[underline]] The Prize Contest. [[/underline]]

The Cinderella of our grandmother's garden has taken the high seat in modern gardens.
Zinnia, we salute you!

And as I glance up from my writing and catch the glint of morning sun on our hugh bed, all grown from Burpee seeds, I cannot but marvel at the glory of this wonder flower.

Such colors - as if scattered indiscriminately from an artist's palette. The brilliant red, reflecting a Coniter's[[?]] Sunset-, the shell pink, so like a maiden's blush, while the white blooms, like nuns of old, stately in their purity, vie with yellow for prominence

A yellow, golden beyond description: Burpee's.
