For Prize Contest

For the last fifteen years I have planted the dollar collection of Burpee's Spender Sweet Rose. We plant them in a branch 30 ft. in length on the east side of our
home, where they have grown 6 to 9 ft. in height.

For sturdiness and length of vine, long flower stems, brilliant coloring and size of flowers, some measuring 1 to 2 inches in diameter, they have been acknowledged supeperior to all others.

They blossom constantly from July to November. Also very fragrant, compared with the Sweet-Peas of thirty years ago, the progress made by the Burpee Co. is marvelous.
