W. Atlee Burpee Co.,
Philadelphia, Pa.

Dear Sirs,

The old German farmer who planted my garden for me last spring wanted me to buy my seed where he bought his because he said that I could get more for my money. However, I ordered mine from Burpee and all summer he has been buying to account for my garden being so much better than his. Sometimes he says his ground is poor, sometimes he thinks his fertilizer is no good, but next year I reckon he will buy seed for quality, with quantity, and that you will surely get an order from him.

Yours very truly
