You might say that working in a garden with [[underline]]any[[/underline]] seeds would be quite as healthful an occupation as using [[underline]]Burpee's[[/underline]] seeds. Possibly, for someone with strong will power, but not for me. Had my efforts met with failure, I'd have given up the garden long before it had benefited my health.

On one of the doctor's visits last winter, he brought me a Burpee catalog telling me to amuse myself by planning a garden. I spent many hours mentally arranging and rearranging it long before the snow was gone. With the first breath of spring I was in the garden, and there I have fought my way back to health.

Could I have persevered had my flowers and vegetables been scrawny things? I think not. And so I feel most grateful to Burpee's for the fine plants that have kept me interested in the work that has been remarkable beneficial to me.

Sincerely,
Loyola Reineck.
