Gentlemen:-

I have long been deprived of many conversational interests because of deafness. My flower garden has helped greatly in providing a substitute interest. I can understand my flower friends. From childhood I have loved them.

I look back upon a long succession of unpretentious but satisfying gardens, made and cared for in leisure moments and largely planted with "Burpee's Seeds that Grow."
