"What Burpee's seeds have done for me."

Burpee's
Philadelphia Pa.

Dear Sirs

After 30 years experience with Burpee's seeds I feel qualified to pass judgement on them and I will say that [[underline]]Burpee's Seeds Bring Satisfaction.[[/underline]]
Gardening is work but some work is a pleasure. In order to be able to raise a good garden you must have good soil and good seed and give it good care. You can give it good care and make poor soil good but you can not make poor seed good. It is discourageing to spend your time and money with poor seed and get poor results. I like to study nature and produce something useful and beautify my place. I have always found Burpee's seeds to be my ablest assistant. It is surpriseing how much produce can be raised on a small tract. I give my child all she can sell as she helps with the garden and I like to teach her to produce useful and beautiful things. The profits from our garden this summer will pay her expenses in High School and that means a great deal. After working all day inside I take pleasure in spending a few evenings a week with my garden and flowers instead of swealtering in a movie show as so many do nowadays.
