FOR PRIZE CONTEST.

Burpee's seeds are a sight to see,
Growing in my garden for me.
Cheering as the days go by,
Making me glad when I used to sigh.

I'll tell you what they did for me--
I was week and ill and blue as could be;
I took the packet from the windoe sill,
And planted the seeds while I was ill.

I greeted the flowers with much delight,
My garden is surely a wonderful sight.
The flowers I watched thru sun and rain,
They are bringing me my health again.

I give my neighbors a share each day,
And all who happen to come my way,
'Twas Burpee's seeds--so fine and strong,
With the garden work that help me along.

(Having been and invalid for the past fourteen years, spending most of my time in bed, I am grateful for the urge that prompted me to send to BURPEE'S for my seeds, as I am now able to be in my garden at Fernwood.)

MRS. CHARLES GEBERT,
Fernwood Road, R.D. #6
