Dear Sirs:-

Sixteen years ago my mother became ill mentally and I left the schoolroom (I am a teacher) to [[strikethrough]] exist [[/strikethrough]] care for ^[[her]] five years under such circumstances as no trained nurse is expected to endure for more than six weeks.

The strain was somewhat relieved by cultivating a bit of ground near enough to allow uninterrupted watch. Here I turned Burpee's seeds into asters and vegetables. the flowers proved salable.
