For Prize Contest

And a love for the good and pure.
They have filled my mind with gladness,
And my nights with happy rest;
They have made me love my garden,
And my vegetables the best.
They have brought my blossoms to cheer me,
And made the Miracle of Life
Seem more wonderful in all its beauty.
And taught me patience, amid the strife.
They have brought me, thoughts of the Creator,
With a knowledge of His wisdom and care.
They have spoken in language most tender,
And helped me to feel the power of prayer,
They have brought kind thoughts of Burpee,
Since childhood's sunny days.
"What Burpee's Seeds have done for Me",
Words fail to express in many ways.
