For Prize Contest,

W.A. Burpee Co, Seed Growers,

No mere words of appreciation can express the ammount of benefit I received from a few packages of Burpees seeds.

I was on the verge of a complete physical and nervous breakdown when your beautiful seed catalog came and claimed my attention. It awoke interest enough in my tired mind to create a desire for some seed. I finally sent for seven packages lettuce, radishes, sweet peas, pansies etc. Early morning and late evening found me sowing, weeding, transplanting. Contact with mother earth made me feel that I did not care whether I ever went back into the school-room or not.

By August I was well and strong and had a garden that was worth all my effort. By Sept I was again ready for the school room. Since then I have used Burpees seeds that grow
