"WHAT BURPEE'S SEEDS HAVE DONE FOR ME."

"Burpee's seeds restored my health." This might seem a paradox, but facts give it proof.

When in 1919 the terrible 'flu' epidemic left traces of tuberculosis in me,my medical advisers, in order to counteract the disease, sent me to New Mexico. Climate and medical help, however, cannot restore one's health without the patient's conscientious co-operation. Hence to make the best use of the fresh-air cure and thereby eventually regain my health, I began (as soon as permitted) to raise a very small vegetable garden on the adjoining hospital property. At first my enthusiasm was somewhat chilled, because of frequent failures due principally to POOR seeds. Fortunately one day on reading an advertisement, I have purchased some of Burpee's seeds with the happy result that to-day my fond hobby is truck gardening; and, moreover, thanks to Burpee's seeds I have after four years' battle against tuberculosis regained my health.

Consequently, my sincere advice to every tubercular victim is :"go out West and raise vegetable gardens with Burpee's seeds, if you wish to gain your lost health."
