Atlee Burpee & Company.

Gentlemen:

It is with great pleasure that I can tell of a number of benefits derived from Burpee's seeds. They are the best that can be bought. I test all seeds before planting outdoors as this climate is very hard on seeds, they have always come up to your standard and are quick to mature. I love to watch the tiny seeds grow and develop into fine vegetables and beautiful flowers; surely God moves in a mysterious was his wonders to perform.

I was a very sick woman when I took up garden work, it has restored my health and brought me great joy, [[strike out]] so [[/strike out]]I have tried to pass my blessings on to others less fortunate in not having a garden.

On Sundays, during the season, I supply flowers for the pulpit of church where I attend, after the service I send them to the sick and the old folks, who love to receive them.

So the benefits I have received from Burpee's seeds are restored health, a greater insight into the wonders of nature, pleasure to myself and to others and enjoying the wonderful results obtained. I can truly say with Ellis Parker Butler "Thank God for a garden."
