FOR PRIZE CONTEST.

"WHAT BURPEE'S SEEDS HAVE DONE FOR ME."

A few years' ago we left the city and moved into a small town. Not endowed with riches, we faced the problem, "how to best obtain our living from a few acres of land." We decided upon gardening. Unexperienced and like the average farmer, we ordered our seeds from the firms displaying the most alluring advertisements. Results were disappointing and we only cleared expenses for several years.

Time and experience taught us a lesson in purchasing seeds. As Burpee's Garden Seeds proved priceless, we decided to try our luck with flowers, specializing in Burpee's Sweet Peas. Our new adventure was a success and future prosperity assured. We sold our flowers to the florists and summer guests in a nearby town, who praised the beauty of Burpee's Sweet Peas.

Through the following years, with the aid of Burpee's Seeds and our ambition and energy to succeed, we added land to our farm, money to our income, health to our bodies, giving me the youngest member of the family a chance to complete my education in a Commercial school, thus proving the superiority of Burpee's Seeds.
