February; The thermometer and ones spirits at zero;
When Burpees Catalogue (harbinger of Spring) arrives;
And in choosing my seeds Winter is forgotten,
depression vanishes; first-good mental.
Spring arrives and in planting my seeds I derive health
from the newly turned soil, and fresh air
Summer and the fresh vegetables give my body all the
mineral salts, and tonics it needs.
The flowers bring beauty and brightness into my life
especially the gorgeous Sweet Peas.
On Sunday they decorate the Altar of our Church
interpreting to the Worshippers Gods purity and beauty
Also living witnesses of His promise to man;! "As long as
the earth remaineth seed true and Harvest shall not fail"
Next day they go to cheer the sick of our parish, and I
derive the pleasure a kind action brings.
Thus I claim that Burpees seeds do me more good than
Doctors or Ministers, both bodily and spiritually.
Doctors [[underlined]] cure [[/underlined]] sickness-Burpees seeds [[underlined]] prevent [[/underlined]]
They illustrate potently our Resurrection; thus [[strike]] even [[/strike]]
destroying even death's sting.
Minister [[underlined]] tell [[/underlined]] us of God, Nature [[underlined]] shows [[/underlined]] Him to us.
For I am nearer to God in a garden.
Than in [[underlined]] any place in the World. [[/underlined]] (194 words)
