A schoolteacher is kept in the house so many hours of every day that she is usually more eager than home-makers to find occupation exercise, and enjoyment out-of-doors in her free hours. So I have been particularly delighted with the success of our Burpee garden this year, for it has furnished a new thrill every day, from the discovery of the first green row which appeared, to the joyful recognition of the corn's silking out! Any gardner is a philosopher and learns manners, morals, and religion in his own back yard. And the flowers ! The path down the middle of the garden has been as gay as a patchwork quilt! The table has been supplied with such delicacies as Mignonette Lettuce, [[symbol]] Early French Breakfast Radishes, [[symbol]] Brittle Wax Beans, [[symbol]] Notts Excelsior Peas, [[symbol]] Detroit Dark Red Beet, [[symbol]] Golden Bantam, [[symbol]] Cocozelle Bush Squash, and Tomatoes; but every week will bring new treasures in. Burpee's Seeds have contributed to my health, my happiness, and my prosperity- what more could one desire?
