[[underlined]] WHAT BURPEE'S SEEDS HAVE DONE FOR ME. [[/underlined]]

Over a period of years, first as a family garden proposition, later as a market gardener and again a family garden as other activities compel the abandonment of market gardening, "Burpee's" have always been the standby, having for years purchased no seed except Burpee's.

During the period which I grew and sold vegetables, I also exhibited at the local County Fair, winning what may be termed "more than a fair share" of prizes. The winnings one year being 32 first and 8 second prizes, out of 41 entries.

This included two collections which were hotly contested. The winnings approximating $95.00 Also the same season winning several prizes at the New York State Fair, all seed purchased were Burpee's seeds.

It is difficult to estimate the value such successful exhibiting, and the value of fresh and stored vegetables to supply the home table during this year, nor let us neglect to mention the flower garden, the value of which is not computable in dollars and cents, but who can gainsay the satisfaction of the continuous bloom from Hyacinths, Narcissi and Tulips of early spring, until frost cuts the last Marigold and Beauty Aster in the Fall. AND ALL FROM BURPEE'S SEED HOUSE.
