Mess. W. Atlee Burpee Co.

At the expiration of two hundred words the preliminary to the "Good Burpee's seed have done for me" would have just begun, so therefore, I will sketch over what has benefitted me in the more than quarter of a century just passed in which I have been using Burpee's seed.

I have a more intimate knowledge of plants as produced from pedigreed seed, In no instance during the period mentioned above, have I had cause to entertain complaint because of failure of seed to either germinate or not be true to type, failure, if any has been either my fault or that of an unfavorable season.

I have never purchased seed from any other source that came as true and with as great percentage of plants as Burpee's, from a given quantity.

The catalog of the present year is as complete as I ever saw and is an education to the uninitiated, If one cannot take the catalog of Burpee's seeds today and order and intelligently plant and raise as fine a garden of pedigreed vegetables as can one of years experience, then my advice is- don't attempt to insult the soil of mother earth by interfereing with it,

Yours truly,
