WHAT BURPEE'S SEEDS HAVE DONE FOR ME

Four years ago my husband and I moved from the city to an Ozark farm--for my health.

We thought anybody ought to know how to grow things--just put the seeds in and let them grow! We did not know the difference between seeds, nor did we understand their cultivation; hence, our first efforts were failures.

I sent for Burpee's Catalog, and studied it. I ordered $12.00 worth of seeds, also Burpee's leaflets. When the second spring came we worked with greater intelligence. We had "seeds that grow", and knew how to cultivate them. [[underline]]Our garden was a success.[[/underline]] We sold enough tomatoes alone to more than pay for all the seeds.

This summer our garden is overflowing with delicious, fresh vegetables, such as city people never taste.

Burpee's Seeds have given me: Health--no more severe headaches; Plenty to eat, both summer and winter; A nice little income from sale of surplus; A keener appreciation of the beautiful; Thrills of joy to see things grow; Higher self-respect because of doing something worth-while; A stronger desire to help make the world better and more beautiful; A feeling of closer kinship to God, who created this great wonder world.
