[[underline]] THE PRESIDENT HARDING SWEET PEA. [[/underline]]

We have never had in our gardens a sweet pea so rarely beautiful as the The President Harding.

Among its characteristics which set it apart from all others, were the thriftiness and strength of growth of the vine and its ready response to care and cultivation.

Words are poor things with which to express the unique loveliness of the flowers. Among all the carefully selected sweet peas in our gardens The President Harding is par excellence, the rarest and best.

It stood among and above all the others in its stately beauty, surprising and delighting everyone who saw it.

What it will do and be under more favorable conditions, we must wait to see. Through lack of judgement, I planted it too near the influence of a maple tree, which we realized too late had an adverse effect upon the unfolding of its surpassing beauty.

It requires patience to wait for another trial of this great flower under the most favorable environment. We wonder what greater delight is lying in wait for us.

I am

Very respectfully yours,
