Omaha on its way East. They had one of the fine pieces there on view over a year ago, and subsequently made an offer on it, but it was refused; and I have advised them not to increase that offer, so I don't think anything will come of it. Last night at dinner at the Clendenings, the whole house rocked like a ship. It was the first "terramoto" I had experienced since years ago in Italy. After the opening of the Impressionist Show here tomorrow, I shall be off on a whirlwind tour, ending up in Texas, K.C., and Omaha. I think I wrote you that K.C. got the Hearst Cloister, -so the stained glass etc. may come later; but it was purchased out of our Nelson funds, pending a final agreement with Fred Vincent's Committee, which has not yet come to terms with the Nelson Trustees as to procedure!
