The object of this gallery is to exhibit pictures in rooms which not only provide appropriate settings for them but are actually created for them. We feel that the rooms which we present will have an importance of their own, but that the major interest will lie in the combination of the pictures with their settings.

We are not particularly interested in so called decorative pictures. Rather our interest lies in presenting pictures at the first quality and of securing the collaboration of the leading decorators in actually creating the ideal surroundings in which they may be seen to their best advantage.

In bringing about this collaboration we are deeply indebted to the leading art dealers who have responded with enthusiastic interest to our idea.
