CT:R November 4th, 1936 Dear Mr. de Coppet: I am dropping you these few lines to tell you that one of our clients has just given us for sale a most remarkable man's portrait by Gainsborough. Now, I realize, of course, that you own the Sackville picture, but nevertheless I have an idea that you might like to see this one. If you thought you would be in any way interested, I wish you would call in here within the next day or two because I would very much like to give you the first option on it. In the meanwhile, with my kindest regards, Believe me to be Yours sincerely, (Clyfford Trevor) Andre de Coppet, Esq. 655 Park Avenye New York, New York ^[[?]]
