Aug. 31 Got up & unpacked my things & fixed some skins taken along the road & then went out & set traps & hunted till noon.
Didn't kill much but found many holes of Thomomys near by & signs of mice. set traps for them.
After noon skinned a Tamias & Flycatcher, then hunted & set a few more traps. Found a Porcupine that had been killed lately & skinned that.
