Mch. 13. 46 [[degree symbol]] in morning. Rained most of P.M., quite hard for half an hour, then stopped & soon the water came pouring down the wash in a torrent that lasted about half an hour.

Caught 2 Hesperomys l. sonoriensis & 4 H. longtailed, & a Perognathus. Skinned these & then it rained & I studied botany.

Rainy in evening.

" [[ditto for: Mch.]] 14 Rained part of forenoon. Went to traps, got wet & got one Hesperomys. Cleaned my gun & loaded skulls & then got the horses up & pet them. Studied some botany & set traps over.

lost my best trap on a Coon.
