July 21 Sunday.

" [[ditto for: July]] 22 Went up on mesa & set traps for D. deserti & hunted. 

Got a few specimens, saw a small Rabbit [[strikethrough] tr [[/strikethrough]] but did'nt get it. Got back at noon

" [[ditto for: July]] 23 Went to traps. caught two big Dipodomys. killed a Rabbit & a Spermophile. 

Made skins & wrote some in P.M.

A warm day.

" [[ditto for: July]] 24 Went to traps early & took them up. Caught two big Dipodomys but a snake had spoiled one. 

Packed the specimens.

- Dont feel very well.

Rained in P.M.

" [[ditto for: July]] 25. Didnt do much all day, just waited for mail & tinkered around a little

Am not well.
