Dear Mr. Gerson:

I am sorry to send back to you only today the RENOIR photograph that you were good enough to lend me.

It is the first thing I do, after having read my mail, on returning from my vacation. I hope that this delay did not inconvenience you.

Hoping to have the pleasure of seeing you soon again, as well as Mr. Thalheimer, and trusting that you have spent a pleasant summer,

Very sincerely,

Enc. (Georges E. Seligmann)
