[[underline]] Traps, [[/underline]] got 4 big Avicolas, 2 Dipodomys deserti, a little Dipodomys, and an [[strikethrough]] Onyochomys [[/strikethrough]. Nelson got some Thomomes & a Tamias leucurus. [[underline]] Weather [[/underline]], +27 [[degree symbol]] at 7 a.m. Clouds in morning came over the Sierras, and snow blew over the crest of the range in clouds. Soon cleared up & was a pleasant day. [[underline]] Dec. 15 [[/underline]]. Got another Arvicola & an Onyochomys and later a Tamias leucurus. Made up skins till noon. In P.M. wrote up my notes for the region between Cloverdale Nev. & Owen River Valley, Cal. Nelson caught some Hesperomes & 2 Ochetodons near the river. Made up skins & set more traps. Dykeman began work on the west side of the valley, was out all day. [[underline]] Weather [[/underline]], +23 [[degree symbol]] at 6 A.M. Clear & pleasant.
