Lanho river, Chihli 'Lanho' may be an alternate spelling of the Luanhe River, which runs through northern Hebei province. Mary Gaunt, in her 1915 travelogue, describes the city of 'Jehol' (now Chengde) as existing near the Lanho (see: https://goo.gl/gc51qj). Chengde sits at the confluence of the Luanhe and Wulie rivers. -@mnathan
